Aimee Farndale is a wildlife enthusiast and aspiring conservation biologist based in the UK. She runs this website with the aim of sharing both her experiences and those of other conservation biologists and to encourage discussion of current conservation issues.

Having previously worked in animal rescue and welfare, Aimee’s main research interests lie in animal behaviour and understanding how individual differences in behaviours can affect conservation efforts. She is also a keen nature photographer and an accomplished scuba diver.

Aimee has been involved with several research opportunities throughout her academic career and has assisted with data collection in The Gambia, Botswana and Kenya. She has also travelled throughout Europe and spent time scuba diving in Egypt and in the UK.
